It’s the happiest, busiest, and most wonderful time of the year. The holidays are a time filled with celebration, and if you are hosting a holiday party, we’ve got an idea to offer guests a slightly different experience. Rather than the traditional holiday party, why not serve up one with a theme? Let your country & western pride show and host a party that is reflective of your lifestyle. We have a few tips to help you plan a party and cowboy (or cowgirl) would be proud to host.
Menu: Cook up some classics like pigs in a blanket, and add traditional party favorites like chips and dip to the menu. You could make it potluck, or you could do the full menu and offer barbecue, baked beans, hamburgers, and other All-American favorites.
Dress code: Encourage guests to feel comfortable and wear their cowboy boots, favorite pair of Wranglers, and cowboy hats. Your party, your rules!
Music: Luckily, there are a wide variety of holiday songs by country & western artists. A simple search online can also help you to find some holiday favorites by classic country artists as well as newer ones, like Taylor Swift.
Games: Everyone loves the game Dirty Santa, but you can put a simple western spin on it by offering the same game with a new name like Outlaw Exchange or Holiday Bandits. You get the idea.
We wish you a happy holiday season, from our Sheplers family to yours.
