We love life all year long, but in October, it gets a little cozier. Here are some of our favorite things to celebrate about the month of October.
The weather. Especially in the south, the weather gets crisp and breezy in October, which is a nice change from the humid and sweaty months of summer.
The fashion. Jeans, cowboy boots, plaid shirts—all the classic western items we love are suddenly not just in style, they are practical in bundling up into as the seasons are changing.
The holidays. While October isn’t a holiday month per se, it is the gateway month into Thanksgiving and Christmas, it’s a nice preparation month for the hectic holidays that are quickly approaching.
The food. Pumpkins, soups, mulled wine—all the fall and winter favorites start to come out to play in October.
The season. It gets light earlier, and mornings take a little longer to roll in. The delayed laissez-faire of the fall months are perfect for staying in bed a little longer and for ending the day with gorgeous fall sunsets.
Scary movies. Leading into the Halloween holiday, we’ve got a slew of scary movies and marathons to keep your nights packed. Cuddle up with your significant other or host a horror movie party with friends.
